Stephen Collins consults on Global Capital Markets as part of Golden Capital Advisors. Previously, he was an International Director in the Washington, D.C. office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. At JLL, Steve shared responsibility for the strategic direction and growth of JLL’s domestic property management and leasing platforms, and served global investor clients interestd in creating or building on their U.S., Canadian and South American portfolios. 

Steve has more than 30 years experience in commercial real estate. In 2014, he was asked to serve as the President of JLL America’s Capital Markets group overseeing approximately 400 Investment Sales and Financing professionals across the US. Subsequent to that role, he became head of JLL’s Global Capital Advisors, coordinating all of the efforts of JLL’s global Capital Markets teams. 

Prior to JLL, Steve was a partner in Spaulding & Slye Colliers as well as the Director of Ernst and Young Kenneth Leventhal’s (EYKL) Capital Markets and Corporate Services Group. He also served as President of GVA Worldwide, a professional real estate organization with more than 3,600 professionals in offices throughout 20 countries and five continents.

Steve has been an Executive Committee Board member and co-head of Membership for the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) for several years.

Steve received a BA from the University of Delaware.
