Two new faculty with interests in real estate and housing have joined the University of Notre Dame. As affiliates of the Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate, they will provide distinct areas of expertise in finance and economics.

The new faculty include:

  • David Echeverry, Patricia and George Scharpf Family Visiting Assistant Professor of Real Estate Finance. Echeverry's research focuses on mortgage-backed securities.
  • Rob Collinson, assistant professor of economics. Collinson's research interests span public and labor economics and he has written about low-income housing programs and the economic incidence of housing vouchers.
