FIRE Ignite
FIRE Ignite is the Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate’s accelerator for students pursuing real estate careers. Fire Ignite provides a pathway to successful placement in a full-time real estate role and was developed utilizing the generous input of multiple corporate partners.
The goal of FIRE Ignite is to provide Notre Dame students with the necessary tools, training, and experience needed to increase their opportunities for a full-time position in the real estate industry.
Students who complete FIRE Ignite will demonstrate to employers that they meet the requisite level of preparation to secure a Junior internship and full time-role upon graduation. FIRE Ignite is open to all students at Notre Dame, Freshman through Senior year, with the final step being to complete the real estate minor. This collaboration between the Real Estate Club of Notre Dame (REND) and FIRE provides students with tangible framework to achieve success.
FIRE Ignite Pillars
FIRE Ignite provides dozens of extra-curricular opportunities for students in the program, including Real Estate Modeling Courses, Networking and Interviewing Workshops, ARGUS Certification, Real Estate Treks, and corporate engagement activities.
REND
Joining REND is a crucial component of a student’s Real Estate experience. REND’s mentor program, workshops, case competitions, and employer networking events provide students with resources found nowhere else on campus.
McQuaig
Each student in FIRE Ignite will utilize McQuaig, an industry assessment designed to help individuals and organizations understand their personality traits and how personality coincides with work. Each student receives a custom detailed report and 1:1 counseling to find a best fit role in real estate.
FIREworks, Networking and Hiring Event
Our premier hiring event which takes place every September on the Thursday before Notre Dame’s first home football game. This event is free to attend for our employers.
