Joe Pomerenke is Executive Vice President at ARCO/Murray, a single source, design-build firm that specializes in commercial construction and real estate needs for Fortune 500 companies and individual businesses throughout the United States and Canada. The ARCO Family of Companies was recently named the #7 largest design-build general contractor by Engineering News Record, exceeding $4.5B+ in annual revenue as an enterprise in 2021. Joe is responsible for overseeing the overall growth of the company and serves as the executive leader for preconstruction, sales, marketing, and technology with the firm. He has been instrumental in expansion of the company into nine (9) additional office locations in Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Nashville, Miami, Minneapolis, Denver, San Mateo, and Toronto. Over the last decade, Joe has helped diversify the company by sourcing and executing on multiple product types including Industrial, Multifamily, Entertainment, Self Storage, Senior Living, Light Manufacturing, Office, and Indoor Agriculture.

Joe is the Founder and Managing Partner of AM Ventures, which invests in early-stage real estate, design, and construction technology companies. He also serves as General Partner at Lagniappe Capital which makes private equity investments in location based entertainment operating companies and associated real estate. Joe also serves as President of the ARCO/Murray Charitable Corporation, whose mission is to promote math and science education, workforce development, and community development. He serves as Board Member at Skills for Chicagoland’s Future.

Mr. Pomerenke is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005. He also received a Masters in Architectural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
