He helps set the strategic direction for K&\;P and is responsible for the financial division of the company. He spends the majority of his t ime focusing on growth initiatives for K&\;P\, both through investment and capital sourcing. In addition\, Mr. Hoban is responsible for K&\;P ’s 1.5M square foot retail shopping center portfolio and its commercial development pipeline of approximately 800\,000 square feet. He played a ke y role in procuring and structuring K&\;P’s entity-level investment w ith Evergreen and was also instrumental in structuring and executing the p urchase of the Babcock Florida Company.\n\nPrior to joining the K&\;P t eam in 2003\, Mr. Hoban spent eight years in New York City as an investmen t banker at Morgan Stanley\, where he served as Vice President of U.S. Acq uisitions for the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund (MSREF). During his care er on Wall Street\, Hoban worked on both the agency and principal side of the real estate business.
