NDRELS features: Brian Hammell

Please join the Notre Dame Real Estate Law Society next Friday, November 19th at 1:30 p.m. in Eck 1140 for a discussion Brian Hammell

Brian is a partner and the practice group leader of REITs at Sullivan & Worcester in Boston. He is also an adjunct professor at the Notre Dame Law School and is teaching the Advanced Real Estate Transactions course in fall 2021. Brian will be sharing his experience of how he started his career in tax law before moving into the specialized field of Real Estate Investment Trusts. The conversation will shed light on the interdisciplinary aspect of the practice of law and how it led to the $4 Billion M&A deal he closed last week (linked here).

In addition, Brian will share some of his insights in networking and career advice generally. As a "Double Domer," he is extremely passionate about making connections within the Notre Dame community and also serves on the hiring committee at his firm. Brian will be more than happy to answer any questions students may have about law school, networking, jobs, his practice, or life in general.

Lunch will be provided.
